Tips to Avoid Holiday Stress
Every year I remind myself to plan well in advance and enjoy the season to its fullest. It’s not always easy, however there are some things you can choose to do differently. When shopping take your time and and don’t stress out over getting the “perfect gift”. Any gift is a wonderful gesture and will be appreciated. Give yourself enough time to shop and take frequent breaks. Eat nourishing foods that contain protein and fiber. Sugar will give you a temporary high, but you will feel more tired afterwards. Is it your turn to prepare the family dinner? Make family get-togethers less stressful by cooking and freezing food in advance, try prepared foods or designate a dish for each family member to bring.
