How To Dress Professionally When It’s Sweltering Outside
It’s a well known fact among Toronto locals that we have two seasons – winter and summer. We tend to go from frigid and gloomy to sweltering and gorgeous in a matter of days. The warmer temps are perfect for sipping on umbrella drinks while lounging by the pool but can pose a bit of a challenge when trying to look professionally put together. Read on for my top tips on what to wear to work when it’s scorching hot. Fabrics No matter your outfit, when dressing for warmer temperatures, fabric is your best friend. Your safe bet is to stick with natural, breathable fibres such as linen, cotton and silk. If the temperatures really start to get up there, you may want to put the silk garments on hold as it tends to repel water (instead of absorbing it)
